How Our Network Works
Request an estimate

Who you talk to
You talk to an independent local plumbing provider. Each one runs their own business. They are not employees of Standingdivided Plumbing, and we do not list staff names or bios here. Our job is the match. The provider's job is the work.
What happens next
Here is the usual path:
- You describe the problem in a request or by phone.
- We pass the details to a provider in our network who handles that kind of job.
- The provider reaches out, asks questions, and explains what comes next.
- You decide whether to book.
Timing depends on the provider. Many can respond quickly, but none are promised. Ask about it early.
What to ask a plumber
A few plain questions can save you stress. Try these:
- Are you licensed and insured here? Ask for details and check them.
- What do you think is wrong? A good answer is simple and clear.
- How will you find out for sure? For drains and sewers, that may mean a camera look inside the pipe.
- What will it cost? Ask for a written quote. Ask what could change the price.
- When can you get here? Get a straight answer on timing.
- Is there a trip or diagnostic fee? Ask before the visit.
Your first hour
Stay calm. If water is pouring out, shut off the main water valve if you can do so safely. If a drain is backing up, stop using water in the house. Take a few photos of the damage. Then reach out. A calm first hour makes everything easier.
You are in control
You choose whether to hire a provider. You can ask questions, compare quotes, and say no. Requesting an estimate carries no obligation. If a provider pushes you to decide on the spot, you can pause and ask for the quote in writing.
